Entry Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields

  • Minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the University Senate; OR
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR

Bachelor's Degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields

  • With relevant working experience: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the University Senate, subject to a rigorous internal assessment; OR
  • Without relevant working experience: Minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the University Senate, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR

Other related/equivalent qualification to a Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government.

English Competency Requirements (International Student)

  • Achieve a minimum of Band 4 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Mid B2); OR
  • IELTS: 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT: 60
  • Pearson English Test: 59
  • Cambridge English Qualification Test: 169

If the student does not meet these requirements, the University must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

Admission Criteria Through APEL.A (Level 7, MQF)

  • At least 30 years old in the year of application
  • Holds a minimum of STPM/Diploma/equivalent qualification (or higher qualifications such as Advanced Diploma,

  • Pass the APEL.A (T7) assessment at the Master’s level
