About the MBA-ODL Programme

Master of Business Administration – Open & Distance Learning (ODL)

AMU's MBA-ODL programme is designed specifically for working professionals, entrepreneurs, managers, executives, and adult learners who aspire to advance their careers while continuing their professional commitments. Through a flexible Open & Distance Learning (ODL) delivery mode, students can pursue a recognised postgraduate qualification without compromising work, family, or personal responsibilities. This scholarship campaign is exclusively for students enrolling in the October 2026 Intake.

The Yayasan Palan MBA-ODL Scholarship

Yayasan Palan (The Palan Foundation) is a Malaysian educational non-profit organisation committed to expanding access to quality education and creating opportunities for deserving individuals.

Through its collaboration with Cyberjaya Education Group and its esteemed institutions, including Asia Metropolitan University (AMU), Yayasan Palan is sponsoring RM100,000 to support aspiring professionals pursuing postgraduate education.

A total of 20 successful candidates will each receive:

• RM5,000* tuition fee sponsorship
• 40% reduction of the full tuition fees
• Total programme fee reduced from RM12,500 to RM7,500*

Below is how you can participate:

Follow these simple steps to be in the running for the scholarship.

Step 1:

Follow Asia Metropolitan University's official social media accounts.

Step 2:

Create and publish an original post based on the campaign theme mentioned above.

You may share your story in any of the following formats:

• POV videos
• Day-in-the-life vlogs
• Storytelling videos
• Career journey reflections
• Carousel posts
• Before-and-after growth stories
• Any other creative format

Step 3:

Collab with or tag AMU's official social media account in your post. Include the following hashtags: #AsiaMetropolitanUniversity #MBAODLScholarship #AMU

Step 4:

Ensure your social media profile is set to Public throughout the campaign period.

Step 5:

Submit your post URL via the online submission form before the closing date.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Successful recipients will be selected based on:

Creativity and originality of content

Relevance to the campaign theme

Overall storytelling and authenticity

Public engagement, including the number of likes received

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Applicants must:

• Be a Malaysian citizen.
• Intend to enrol in the MBA-ODL October 2026 intake.
• Applicants must satisfy the entry requirements for the AMU MBA-ODL programme.
• Applicants must participate in the official social media campaign and complete all submission requirements.
• Only submissions received on or before 15 September 2026 will be considered.
• Applicants must maintain a public social media profile until winners are announced.
• The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Asia Metropolitan University reserves the right to verify all submissions and disqualify entries that are incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, or fail to comply with the campaign requirements.
• Asia Metropolitan University reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
