The doctoral programme aims to provide students with the practical, analytical, and empirical abilities required to solve future issues coming from rapid advances in science, technology, and innovation, with a concentration on business administration. The programme would assist students in achieving excellence in research, postgraduate education, and training to meet the growing demands of academia, industry, and the research arena in the fields of business and technology, thereby providing excellent preparation for a career in the business industry.
The programme will uphold the traditions and standards of excellence in research, discoveries, and innovations by providing an effective and efficient platform for the sharing and shaping of ideas within the framework of Business Administration on a global scale and through international knowledge networks.
At the doctoral level, the pinnacle of academic performance, students would conduct focused research in their area of speciality that would be immediately relevant to both local and worldwide interests. Furthermore, they would be aware of international challenges through the media, seminars, conferences, publications, presentations, and keynote addresses, as well as through research attachments and collaborative exchange arrangements with internationally recognised research institutions.
The programme would, through the dissertation produced, not only form an independent novel contribution knowledge and learning, but also a critical perspective of the existing body of knowledge and its methodology.

Master's Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields
A Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the University Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; OR
A Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the University Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; OR
Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree (Level 7, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government
