Dr. Mohamad Salmi Mohd Sohod graduated with Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing and Master of Science in Manufacturing/Industrial Management from Western Michigan University, United States of America in 1984. Beginning his career in the education sector, where his true passion lies, Dr. Salmi as he is usually referred as, was first attached to Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Dr. Salmi held various academic positions at UUM including Lecturer in Management Studies and Senior Lecturer in Human Resource &Organisation Development.

Dr. Salmi’s earnest efforts came to maturation when UNITAR was launched on 21 December 1998. His pervasive experience in the academic field led to his appointment as the Professor and simultaneously as Deputy President (Technology) of UNITAR and Chief Executive Officer of United Multimedia SdnBhd, a subsidiary company of UNITAR that develops and manages the e-learning infrastructure and systems of the university.

While still attached to UNITAR, Dr Salmi extended his service to E-TQM College in Dubai where he served as Professor and Associate Dean on Content Development for three years.

Professor Dr. Subramanian A/L Amamalay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is also a qualified auditor of the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and is certified in Total Quality Management and Strategic Planning. He is a member of the Institute of Personnel & Development, United Kingdom. He has attended the Senior Management Leadership Programme at Asian Institute of Management. He is an experienced Senior Manager with over twenty years of experience in the finance and education industry.

Mr Subra was appointed as an Executive Director of the Company on 4 November 2015 and currently hold below-listed position under the group level:

He has vast experience in leadership roles and human capability development. As CEO of SMR HR Group and SMR Gulf, he has worked across Asia and the Middle East, including Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Sudan, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has led and managed several large consulting projects for large GLCs and MNCs. He worked in both government and private sectors in various managerial positions. He worked in MBF Education Group including Taylors and in the Ministry of Social Welfare. He also worked at C Level and has vast experience in Marketing & Sales and General Management.
