The Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Alumni Association facilitated student participation in the “Executive Training Programme for Enhancing the Capabilities of Enterprise Management Leading Talents,” hosted by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (a national top-tier think tank and a directly affiliated institution of the Ministry of Commerce of China).
The programme covered enterprise globalisation, international trade, and cross-border collaboration, with content aligned to current policies and industry practices to support enterprise internationalisation strategies.

On April 24, under the thoughtful arrangements of the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, the participants traveled by bus from the Academy to three industry-leading companies—iSoftStone (301236), Glodon (002410), and Topsec (002212)—for study and site visits.
At iSoftStone, the participants gained in-depth insights into the company’s full-stack intelligent service capabilities as the number-one IT service provider in China, experiencing its innovative布局 in AI, intelligent manufacturing, and digital energy.
Subsequently, the group visited Glodon, a nationally key software enterprise, focusing on digital transformation achievements in the construction industry. They experienced cutting-edge applications of BIM technology and digital construction platforms up close.
The final stop was Topsec, widely recognised as the Whampoa Military Academy of China’s cybersecurity sector. There, participants gained a deep understanding of the company’s technological expertise and industrial contributions in the fields of cybersecurity, data security, and cloud computing.
On April 25 and 26, during the two-day classroom sessions, Professor Li Gang delivered an in-depth analysis of the core trends, opportunities, and challenges in the current international economic and trade environment from the perspectives of macroeconomic landscape and the evolution of international trade rules, providing authoritative insights for participants to assess the general direction of global expansion. Ms. Wu Fang focused on policy study and strategic planning, offering a detailed interpretation of national foreign economic cooperation policies and key points of corporate internationalisation strategies, helping participants accurately grasp policy directions and solidify the cognitive foundation for high-quality corporate expansion overseas. Ms. Qi Xin systematically explained key issues such as economic and trade cooperation paths under the Belt and Road Initiative framework and trade and investment facilitation, sharing actionable guidance that combines theoretical depth and practical value.
Upon completion of the programme, participants received programme certificates issued by the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation. The organisation by the Asia Metropolitan University Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Alumni Association for members to participate in this training programme at the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation not only serves as an authoritative recognition of the academic quality and platform resources of Asia Metropolitan University but also reflects the university’s commitment to providing high-standard, high-value-added services for its students. This initiative helps alumni broaden their international perspectives, connect with premium resources, and achieve both personal and professional growth.
