Professor Dr. Azizah has an extensive experience in research, teaching, supervision, consultation and managing at higher education institutions. She received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Southern Illinois University, USA in 1985. Her interest in Artificial Intelligence began when she received her Master of Computer Science from Universiti Malaya in 1990, She later pursued her PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2011. She had published over fifty research papers in indexed journals and proceedings, and lead several research projects under institutional and national grants like EScience, LRGS (co lead) and TNB research grant, in the field of Embedded Systems, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

As the Dean of Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST), Prof. Dr. Azizah Suliman is committed to lead, guide, and work together with the faculty to start a new chapter of growth and expansion. With academic quality as a basis, she wish to lead FOST as a faculty of choice for empowering internationally recognizable graduates with dynamic, innovative and relevant programmes.
